is a laugh a minute. There is also a fleeting performances from Mel Smith too!
This is another one
of my favourites, one that I 1st saw with my old mate James Hussey.
When he asked me if I wanted to watch it, I declined due to the poncey name,
but once I’d seen it, I was hooked! I mean, this film has everything you could
ever want from a film ….. & more.
The story starts with a farm boy named Wesley (Carey) & his attractive landlady, Butercup (Wright) who fall in love after several weeks together. But when Wesley is forced to leave, Buttercup believes that she has lost him forever. This thought is worsened when she receives news that he has been captured by the Dread Pirate Roberts.
I could go on
& on with this story telling lark, but I’m going 2 cut that short. Basically,
the story is a mass of sword fighting, sand-swamps, oversized rodents, giants, electric
eels, castles & true love. Well worth the time, believe me!
